You might be able to use those if you wanted. I use that port for my turbo oil feed so, i have a weller racing oil filter adapter with two ports.

The bar flashed but the engine rpm was not effected and there was no horn blowing. I don't know what thread your gauge is but most are 1/8 npt so get a yamaha adapter or this gm adapter and install a 1/4 npt to 1/8 npt step down threaded bushing and you should have the same thing.

I traced the lines to the oil cooler and i tapped into the one going into the top. Ptt piston vice tool yb.
